Rebuilding Absolute Aromas' eCommerce Experience for an Extensive Aromatherapy Product Range

Absolute Aromas approached Cude Design to redesign and develop its eCommerce website, replacing an ageing online presence with a more modern shopping experience that better represented the established aromatherapy brand.
The website was developed in WordPress using WooCommerce, with the Bridge premium theme and WPBakery providing the foundations for the new design. Particular attention was given to creating a clear and accessible shopping experience across the site, allowing customers to move naturally between product categories and individual products.
With a substantial range of essential oils, blends, skincare, and aromatherapy products, the website needed to balance a large amount of product information with a straightforward interface for customers.
Structuring a Large Product Catalogue Around the Customer
One of the key challenges was organising Absolute Aromas’ extensive product catalogue so customers could quickly narrow down the range and find relevant products.
We mapped the product structure and filtering based on how customers browse the range, creating a more practical route through the WooCommerce store rather than presenting hundreds of products without sufficient organisation.
The completed website combined the flexibility of WordPress with WooCommerce’s eCommerce functionality, giving Absolute Aromas a platform capable of managing its substantial catalogue while providing customers with a considerably improved online shopping experience.
